The happy couple

Mr. & Mrs.

5.29.09

We had a fun and exciting week at our house with Ashley & Nate's wedding. Thursday night the Roe's hosted a Wedding Dinner at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. The food was delicious and it was fun to hear from Ashley & Nate, along with their siblings, dads, cousins & friends. The highlight of the night was when Nate sat down to the grand piano and played a song that he composed for Ashley:) Nate you are awesome!

We also showed a montage video with pictures of Ashley then Nate and then the two of them dating. It ended with this cute date video that the incredible David Perry filmed in Park City of the happy couple.

David Perry is so talented and so great to work with. He shot this video of Nate and Ashley right after they were married in the Salt Lake Temple. Notice the big smiles that Nate & Ashley both have when they come out of the Temple, that is the one moment I have played over and over in my mind all weekend and I am so happy we captured it on film:) Filming this video I'm sure was both fun & tiring for the new Bride & Groom, but David made sure to keep them happy by taking them to the Lion House Pantry and buying them some famous Lion House Rolls and water bottles so they could take a break from the sun for awhile. After the video shoot David ran home and edited this in just a few hours and then brought it up to the reception so we could play it. I highly recommend this guy for any event that you want to remember forever:)

Husband & Wife

My Niece Courtney has been incredible as well throughout this whole Wedding process, taking engagement, shower, bridal, marriage, & reception pictures. Check out her new website and book her while you still can....(before she gets too famous:) I also want to thank Robyn for making Ashley so beautiful by doing her hair and makeup countless times over the past few months. Robyn has also been picking up a lot of clients lately, but doesn't have a website yet, so if you are interested in looking beautiful too, just leave a comment on her blog and she will get back to you asap.

I have so many talented relatives that helped me with this Wedding. You will be sure to hear all about them as more pictures become available:)

...you may now kiss the Bride;)

Ashley and Nate,

For a long time we have known that Nate would marry his soul mate and after seeing that smile we know he has. Nate, my dearest friend I am glad to see that smile again. We didn't realize how much we miss until we saw your video.

You guys will always be a part of your Virginia family.

We love you and miss you terribly,
